From design innovation to mid-size aircraft services and facility expansion, AMAC Aerospace continues to chart a bold course in business aviation — one built on craftsmanship, capability, and client trust.

In a fast-evolving aviation landscape, AMAC Aerospace continues to soar ahead by combining world-class engineering with a personalised client approach. The company’s latest milestones include expanding its footprint in Basel, elevating its design capabilities as well as reinforcing its technical expertise across aircraft categories. Whether it’s offering flexible pre-purchase inspections or welcoming a new wave of mid-size jets, the company remains grounded in its mission: precision, quality, and a seamless client journey from concept to completion.

Mid-Size, Major Commitment
Globally recognised for its outstanding work on narrow- and wide-body aircraft, AMAC Aerospace is also proving to be a strong and capable partner for mid-size jets including Bombardier with a dedicated hangar at its facilities. The company has certainly developed a full suite of services tailored to this growing segment.
While AMAC Aerospace continues to experience strong demand with major ongoing projects for Airbus and Boeing, it has also developed a robust portfolio of services tailored specifically to the needs of mid-size aircraft owners. In fact over the past 12 months, AMAC Aerospace Switzerland has completed maintenance work on more than 250x mid-size jets.
The company is welcoming more Bombardier aircraft than ever before, driven in particular by growing demand in regions such as Africa and India, and fuelled by a significant number of aircraft ownership changes.
For mid-size aircraft, AMAC Aerospace offers: refurbishment services for high-end interior completions and upgrades, designed with precision and quality. The company also offers connectivity installations for advanced onboard connectivity solutions. And PPI on Demand: Fast and flexible availability for pre-purchase inspections.
What sets AMAC apart is consistency: clients of mid-size aircraft benefit from the same uncompromising attention to detail and service that define its large-aircraft completions. It’s no surprise many first-time clients become long-term partners.

A New Era of Design Excellence
AMAC Aerospace’s newly upgraded interior design showroom in Basel is now fully operational. The expanded space and team are spearheaded by Christelle Dietsch, Manager of Interior Design, who leads a multidisciplinary team that includes a Color, Material, Finish (CMF) Designer, a Technical Designer, a Junior Aircraft Interior Designer and an Interior Design Assistant
From the initial concept development to the final layouts, AMAC Aerospace focuses on spatial planning, ergonomics and flow to ensure that each design is both beautiful and functional. The team continuously researches trends, materials, and innovations to craft interiors that are both current and enduring.
AMAC Aerospace’s design capability lies in seamlessly transforming ideas into high-quality, actionable solutions tailored to each client’s requirements. This process begins with a deep understanding of the customer’s needs, lifestyle, and expectations. AMAC Aerospace takes the time to listen, ask the right questions, and translate these insights into a clear and thoughtful design direction.

Colour schemes, finishes, textures and mood are carefully developed to express the desired atmosphere, while technical constraints and feasibility are considered from the outset. With an engineer in the team, AMAC Aerospace work hand-in-hand with all key stakeholders from the earliest stages to ensure that the creative vision aligns with what is realistically achievable. The result is a detailed, well-documented design package that serves as a reliable foundation for implementation—minimising risk, optimising quality, and streamlining communication across all project stakeholders.
This holistic, end-to-end approach defines AMAC Aerospace’s design capability, from vision to detail and concept to reality.

Engineering Expansion in Basel
AMAC Aerospace has recently completed the construction of its new engineering building at its Basel headquarters. The modern three-storey facility spans 4,100 square metres and will house the entire engineering department.

In parallel, a new gatehouse and reception area is also targeted for completion in the second half of 2025. This infrastructure upgrade reflects AMAC’s ongoing investment in technical excellence and service infrastructure.
Additionally, over the past year, AMAC Aerospace Switzerland has welcomed over 80x new technicians to its facility in Basel. This reflects AMAC’s ongoing progress and commitment to a growing and professional workforce.

PPI On Demand: Speed, Precision, Assurance
With private aviation transactions on the rise — market growth is projected to reach 30% in 2025 — AMAC Aerospace is stepping up to meet increased demand with flexible pre-purchase inspection (PPI) solutions.
Renowned for its thorough inspections, AMAC can identify even the most minor defects and deviations, providing clients with clarity and peace of mind. This ensures technical transparency for buyers and provides investment security.
Thanks to its extensive hangar capacity, the company can accommodate short-notice requests, often combining PPI with maintenance work carried out in one location and in a single efficient downtime. This capability allows AMAC to support the revitalised transaction market with confidence and technical rigour.
