BIGGER SELANGOR AVIATION SHOW RETURNS FOR THE SECOND YEAR

Invest Selangor Berhad, with its aerospace division Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office (S-DAICO), announces the launch of Selangor Aviation Show (SAS2022). Now on its second edition, SAS2022 will run from 8 to 10 September 2022 at Skypark RAC Subang.

SAS2022 is the venue for high-level networking and market penetration prospects with industry players from various sectors including commercial, business and general aviation, and helicopter sub-sectors of the aviation industry in Malaysia and the region.

With a target of RM700 million (S$215.9 million) potential transaction value, SAS2022 returns with more business and investment opportunities in both local and international stages targeting to draw at least 8,000 visitors with at least 70 booths from local and international companies.

SAS2022 anticipates about 30 static displays of aircraft and helicopters, including luxury private jets, on the tarmac within the Skypark RAC area.

“Several activities are planned to benefit all stakeholders. Apart from the exposition and static displays, exhibitors can also hold business networking with potential trade visitors and partners, product presentations, seminars as well as training and career path sessions with the aviation tertiary students,” says Dato’ Hasan Azhari, CEO of Invest Selangor.

Among the confirmed participants are Sapura Aero, Destini Avia Technique, Epic Aero, DJI Academy, Superb Access, BCS Aviation, Bibus Metals, Sirim and International Aero Training Academy. Meanwhile, OEMs are also expected to participate.

Aviation-related associations will also participate and educate the visitors on their areas of expertise through planned technical and industry talk sessions and forums during the three-day event. AsBAA (Malaysian Chapter) will oversee the Safety Day program onsite, while WiAA will hold aviation career talks for future aviators.
