Considering buying a business jet? This year’s top options are defined by efficiency, luxury, and aerodynamic innovation. We have compiled a list of the best-selling business jets for 2025, based on the latest aviation sales data. While not exhaustive, this selection offers a sense of current market trends. The jets featured here are known for their dependability, performance, and style, which make them great choices for both business and private travel.
Sustainability is a leading priority in private aviation this year. Many buyers are seeking aircraft with lower carbon emissions. Aircraft with more efficient engines and cutting-edge materials are becoming increasingly prevalent and sought after.
The market is also being shaped by technological developments. Priorities include increased comfort, speed, and range. In order to make business travel nearly as productive as time spent in the office, connection advancements such as speedier Internet access onboard are also crucial factors.
Mid-sized aircraft are particularly in high demand too. This segment strikes the right balance between price, range, and passenger capacity – qualities highly valued by both individuals and businesses. These jets are practical for regional travel, yet capable of efficient long-distance journeys when required.
The market is also diversifying, offering a broader range of business jets to cater to various needs, from long-haul flights to short regional hops.
Ultra-long-range jets are ideal for intercontinental travel without stopovers. These aircraft can cover more than 6,000 nautical miles in a single flight, offering spacious cabins designed for long-duration comfort. Many feature plush seating that often converts into beds, along with modern communication systems that keep you connected. With the ability to fly non-stop between cities like New York and Tokyo, they redefine convenience.
Large-cabin jets combine generous interior space with extended range, accommodating up to 19 passengers comfortably. A typical model provides a roomy cabin, often divided into sections for working, dining, and resting, ensuring a multipurpose environment. You can also expect features like High-speed Internet and satellite television which further enhance productivity and in-flight entertainment.
For those looking to cut costs without compromising comfort, midsize jets are a great option. They typically serve flights up to 3,500 nautical miles and seat between seven to nine passengers. Ergonomic seating, Wi-Fi connectivity, and other productivity-friendly features make them suitable for both work and leisure.
Industry giants like Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault and Embraer are among the leading business jet manufacturers in 2025.
Cessna Citation Ascend

With one taking off or landing every two minutes, the Cessna Citation is undoubtedly the most well-known private aircraft in the world. In 2025, the Citation Ascend now has a cruise speed of 441 knots and a 1,900-nm range for four passengers. With its 15% wider cabin windows, the opulent interior can hold up to 12 passengers in swivel seats. In an important move, Cessna has introduced new acoustical kits that enable normal “household” conversation during flight. Additionally, the Ascend can access numerous small fields because of its 3,660-foot takeoff distance.
Dassault Falcon 10X

With a range of 7,500 miles and a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, or slightly over 700 mph, the Falcon 10X can accommodate up to 18 passengers, depending on the cabin arrangement. With a fully functional gourmet galley, the 10X boasts the biggest cabin and tallest (6-foot 8-inch) stateroom in its class. The 10X features an all-carbon-fiber wing and is propelled by clean, efficient Rolls-Royce Pearl engines. Pilots will appreciate the twin heads-up displays and advanced avionics digital touch panels, which lets both pilots to see and seamlessly share all cockpit information.
Bombardier Global 8000

The Global 8000, which aims to have the longest private jet range, has a range of 8,000 nautical miles. That allows this jet to fly non-stop from London to Perth, or Los Angeles to Singapore. With a top speed of Mach 0.94, and a transcontinental cruise speed of Mach 0.92, Bombardier also holds the distinction of being the fastest. There are four zones in the cabin, each with a full-size bed and a stand-up shower. The range and speed doesn’t come cheap, however. The price of this jet is a stratospheric US$78 million (SG$102 million).
In conclusion, the market has never before offered such a wide range of jets to satisfy the various demands of their customers, each with distinctive features, performance, and designs. Private jet travel is indeed soaring to new heights.
HondaJet 2600 Echelon
The Echelon is the first light aircraft with a transcontinental range of 2,625 nm. And the new HondaJet is the first transcontinental jet rated for a single pilot. The aircraft can reach a ceiling of 47,000 feet while transporting 11 passengers at a cruise speed of 450 knots. There are various configurations, one of which even has a bed and a stateroom. The Garmin auto-braking and auto-landing technologies in the all-glass cockpit will be a plus to many pilots. Although the main firm is Honda, the jet is manufactured in Greensboro, North Carolina. It will make its debut in late 2025.
