Singapore Airshow 2026: Bold Vision for Aviation and Space

Marking its 10th edition, Singapore Airshow 2026 returns in February with over 1,000 exhibitors, a new Space Summit, and a sharp focus on sustainability, innovation and the future of global aviation and defence.

When Singapore Airshow returns from 3–8 February 2026 at the Changi Exhibition Centre, it will mark its 10th edition, and two decades of shaping the future of flight. Since its debut in 2008, the biennial event (organised by Experia Events) has evolved into one of the world’s most influential aerospace and defence exhibitions, and a vital gateway to the Asia-Pacific market. The 2026 edition reflects an industry in transformation, expanding its lens beyond aviation to embrace sustainability, digitalisation, next-generation defence, and, for the first time, space.

More than 1,000 companies from over 50 countries and regions are expected to participate. This underscores the airshow’s stature as a global meeting point for industry leaders, government and military delegations, innovators and investors. Returning exhibitors include Airbus, Boeing, Bell, COMAC, GE Aerospace, Gulfstream, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, RTX, Saab, SIA Engineering, ST Engineering and Thales, alongside AVIC, MBDA and others. The 2026 edition will also welcome next-generation defence technology companies such as Helsing, Quantum and Shield AI, signalling the growing importance of advanced and dual-use technologies.

Country pavilions will span Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, with expanded participation from both the Italian Trade Agency Pavilion and the China Pavilion.

From Sky to Space

The most notable expansion comes with the introduction of Space Summit 2026, held from 2–3 February 2026 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. Officially endorsed by Singapore’s Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn) and the Economic Development Board (EDB), the Summit marks a strategic extension of the Airshow from air to orbit.

Themed “New Frontiers: Shaping a Responsible and Inclusive Space Future,” the Summit will convene policymakers, space agencies, investors and innovators from around the world to discuss infrastructure, sustainability, investment and the in-space economy. According to McKinsey, this sector could reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035 — a figure that underscores why space is no longer a niche conversation.

By integrating the space agenda into the Airshow ecosystem, Singapore positions itself as a hub for space dialogue and collaboration in Asia-Pacific, while encouraging cross-sector engagement across aviation, connectivity and emerging technologies.

Sustainable Future

Sustainability remains a central pillar of Singapore Airshow 2026, with a particular focus on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and net-zero initiatives. The aim is practical progress rather than abstract ambition, spotlighting real-world technologies and applications that move aviation closer to decarbonisation.

Neste, a global leader in renewable fuels, joins as Sustainable Aviation Partner and will share insights at AeroForum on SAF adoption, supply chain transformation and enabling greener operations. Attendees can also offset travel-related emissions via the CarbonClick counter, first introduced in 2024 — an initiative that reinforces the Airshow’s commitment to responsible travel.

Through targeted forums, showcases and partnerships, sustainability at the 2026 Airshow is framed not as a side conversation, but as a commercial and operational imperative for the industry’s long-term resilience.

Innovation, Startups and What’s Next

Innovation continues to define the Airshow’s DNA. What’s Next, its startup showcase, returns with a sharper focus on emerging and dual-use technologies across aerospace and defence. Expanded exhibition zones will spotlight digital aviation, sustainable propulsion and future defence technologies, creating new points of connection between global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and technology startups.

These platforms reinforce the Airshow’s role as a nexus where established players meet the next generation of innovators shaping the aerospace landscape.

High-Level Dialogue and Talent Building

Beyond the exhibition floor, Singapore Airshow 2026 remains a vital platform for high-level exchange. AeroForum will feature a comprehensive programme addressing the industry’s most pressing priorities, including market and budget outlooks, autonomy and human–machine teaming, cybersecurity, advanced air mobility, workforce transformation and the race to commercialise next-generation technologies.

Networking is further enhanced by AeroConnect, an AI-driven business matchmaking platform designed to connect participants with relevant opportunities efficiently.

AeroCampus also returns to inspire the next generation of aerospace talent. Bringing together educational institutions, training organisations and industry partners, it offers students and young professionals exposure to emerging skillsets, career pathways and innovations shaping aviation’s future.

Aviation for Everyone

For the public, Weekend@Airshow on 7–8 February 2026 delivers aviation spectacle at its most accessible. The skies will come alive with aerial performances, complemented by static displays of the latest commercial, military and business aircraft.
