Plus new developments to look forward to at this year's exhibition

The Singapore Yacht Show organising team have been working hard to determine the most suitable dates for the rescheduled SYS 2020. The 10th anniversary of Asia’s most important boat show will now take place from 15 to 18 October 2020 at the completely redesigned and rejuvenated ONE˚15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

Although this year’s show has been postponed, the organisers will be unveiling long-awaited developments and changes to the show’s layout that will elevate the experience of exhibitors, sponsors and visitors alike. For the very first time, the whole show will be moved onto the water, instead of in exhibition tents on the adjacent grass areas. The new pontoon configuration will feature air-conditioned exhibition booths and showrooms all around the perimeter of the marina for an immersive 360-degree experience.

“It was hugely difficult for us to take the decision to postpone our 10th anniversary show just six weeks from opening day, and it’s been increasingly sad to see almost all other boat shows around the world having to follow suit,” said Andy Treadwell, CEO of show organiser Verventia. “With a full six months delay to October, we are hopeful that the rescheduled show will be able to give the industry in these parts the boost that it will badly need by then.”

The organising team also announced its intentions to continue on with the 11th anniversary of the Singapore Yacht Show as well. Look forward to SYS 2021 from 22 to 25 April 2021.
