Corinthia London: New Suites, Restaurant and Spa Collaborations
The five-star Corinthia London unveils a collection of new suites, as well as new restaurant and spa partnerships.
In January 2025, Corinthia London, located on the corner of Whitehall beside the River Thames, unveiled 26 newly refurbished suites comprising 12 Deluxe Junior Suites, six Trafalgar Suites, four Whitehall Suites, and four newly created Garden Suites. The hotel once again enlisted the expertise of G.A Group to reimagine its accommodations. The outcome is a contemporary expression of elegance attuned to the tastes of today’s discerning traveller.

The redesign signals a thoughtful evolution of Corinthia London’s identity in the competitive landscape of luxury urban hospitality. Each space has been reinterpreted to reflect character and individuality, while preserving the brand’s signature sense of warmth that defines its ‘home away from home’ experience. Sustainability, too, is woven into the narrative: existing furnishings were reconditioned and reupholstered using traditional British craftsmanship. The suites now feature a curated selection of bespoke furnishings and artwork sourced from local artisans, creating a refined atmosphere that speaks to the modern traveller’s desire for both comfort and sophistication.

The Trafalgar Suites interior draw inspiration from the natural beauty of London’s parks. An updated palette of lush greens and golds reflects the leafy views outside, enhanced by the abundance of natural light that pours in. Highlights include soft linen wall panels, Calacatta Viola stone, lost-wax cast bronze lamps, and a standout green velvet sofa — all lending texture and tone to the space. Architectural curves mirror the hotel’s historic silhouette, while generous layouts open up to views of Trafalgar Square.

The Whitehall Suites make a bolder statement, dressed in golden and deep red hues. With spacious proportions and an inviting mood, these rooms nod to British heritage in subtle ways. Artisanal brass lighting from British manufacturer, Hector Finch, and reconditioned timber flooring add tactile charm and craftsmanship.

Embracing contemporary living and working styles, the Deluxe Junior Suites feature dedicated living areas with versatile dining spaces replacing traditional desks. A calming colour palette of greys, rust tones, and blues creates a soothing, yet sophisticated environment, complemented by bespoke rugs and furnishings upholstered in British fabrics.
Linen-wrapped wall panels add a touch of softness, while grand headboards with integrated reading lights, sculpted lighting, and chic stone nightstands strike the perfect balance of elegance and ease. Reconditioned, hand-finished timber flooring reinforces a sense of warmth throughout.

Four new Garden Suites were designed with a nod to the quintessential British garden in mind and overlook Corinthia London’s landscaped courtyard. Their light, fresh aesthetic is the ideal pied-à-terre when visiting the city. A green and neutral botanical colour scheme and textures run throughout the suites, with complementary soft furnishings, and a feature fireplace in the main living area.
The Garden Suites evoke a stylish residential style, with an organic style of art chosen to represent the classic British garden. This theme flows through to the carpets which feature London tree leaves, carved into the design as if fallen from the trees that line the streets outside. These lush suites feature bespoke brass wall lights, soft leathers, and beautifully crafted woods.
Dining experiences
This autumn, Corinthia London will unveil a new chapter in its culinary story: a signature Italian restaurant by celebrated chef Francesco Mazzei. Set within the hotel’s grand Northall Restaurant space (soon to undergo a meticulous transformation), this will become Mazzei’s signature restaurant in London.
Calabrian-born Francesco was raised with a passion for food, often in the family kitchen, and had his first taste of a professional experience working in his uncle’s Gelateria. Over the last four decades, he has been recognised as one of the great contemporary Italian chefs, having worked in five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and, in 2019, awarded the OMRI (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic). In more recent years, Francesco has been in residency in Malta at the Corinthia Palace, bringing a taste of southern Italy to Villa Corinthia, the first and founding property of Corinthia Hotels.
Francesco plays a vital advisory role with the Calabrian government to promote their artisan goods in the UK including citrus fruit, bergamot, and n’duja. He has also appeared on numerous cookery programmes, including Saturday Kitchen, MasterChef, Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, The Wine Show, and Italian Hell’s Kitchen.
The arrival of Mazzei’s restaurant builds on Corinthia London’s already dynamic culinary offering. The hotel is home to acclaimed chef Tom Kerridge’s Kerridge’s Bar & Grill and Velvet, the glamorous cocktail bar helmed by mixology legend Salvatore Calabrese. At the Crystal Moon Lounge, guests can enjoy an exquisite afternoon tea curated by Executive Pastry Chef Yago Doamo.
